High molecular weight Sodium Hyaluronate 1%
The 3,200,000 Daltons of its molecular weight added to a suitable viscosity, high elasticity, maximum purity without protein residues, non-toxic, non-allergenic and non-allergenic guarantees an effective treatment of joint dysfunctions without adverse local reactions.
Each syringe contents:
Hyaluronate Acid (Sodium salt).............20 mg
Excipient q.s.............................................2 ml
For treatment of intra-articular diseases in horses: arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthrosis, osteochondrosis, sinovitis, post joint lavage and post joint surgery. Also indicated in tendinitis.
Intra-articular injection: for small and medium size joints, dose is 2 ml (20 mg). For larger joints dose is 4 ml (40 mg).
Several joints may be treated at the same time.
Treatment may be repeated weekly depending on judgment of the Veterinarian.
Intra-tendon injection: apply in the center of the lesion area with ultra sonographic guide preferentially.

Strict aseptic technique should be observed when administering the injection, care should be taken to avoid scratching the cartilage surface with the tips of the needle. For better result, horse should be given 2 to 3 days of stall rest gradually resuming normal physical activity.
Store at room temperature (15 ºC - 30 ºC).
