Sulfated glycosaminoglycans 12%
Each vial contents:
Sodium chondroitin sulfate...................12 %
Excipient q.s............................................5 mL
For treatment of joint diseases in equines and dogs. Arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis, degenerative cartilage processes, tendinitis, prevention and treatment of hip dysplasia in canines.
Horses: IM injection, 1 to 2 mg/kg bw. Due to it´s wide margin of safety, the recommended practical dose is one vial, 5 mL.
Dogs: IM or SC injection, 2 to 5 mg/kg bw equivalent to 0.5 to 1 mL per animal.
For both species, the interval between doses should be 4 to 7 days or longer according to the criteria of the acting veterinarian.
Not known at the recommended doses.
The injection must be applied under conditions of strict asepsis.
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to sulfated glycosaminoglycans.
Store at room temperature (15 ºC - 30 ºC).
Do not freeze.
